This year, Luther Seminary’s annual Aus Memorial Lecture will take the form of an extended conversation: one centered on the encouragement we can find in Jesus Christ’s role as the instigator and sustainer of Christian evangelism. We hope you’ll join us at Jesus: The Most Interesting Word We Have for the World, an evangelism salon with Will Willimon.
The live lecture will be shared online and is open to all, free of charge. Dr. Willimon brings years of experience as a campus minister, pastor, bishop, and writer, and has spent a lifetime thinking deeply about what it means to share the gospel.
Together, we’ll dive deep into our calling to bear witness to Christ in our time—the joys and difficulties, the openings and the obstacles. This conversation is meant especially for pastors and church leaders, but all are welcome.
In going out with the Good News to those who most need to hear it, we follow the lead of Jesus himself: persistent, gracious, and always seeking to invite everyone to his coming realm. We hope you’ll join us.
